STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

How do you rotate PDF pages?

Distinguish a temporary viewing rotation from a page rotation saved into the document.

  1. Identify pages to adjust

Select only the required pages or range.

  2. Choose direction and angle

In a capable editor, choose clockwise, counterclockwise, or 180-degree rotation.

  3. Review thumbnails

Check that other pages were not rotated accidentally.

  4. Save and reopen

Verify that the page rotation was saved in the file.

This guide explains the general workflow in an application that supports the operation. This version offers file selection and type/size checks; it does not generate processed output.

Frequently asked questions

Answers about the workflow, file quality, and situations you may encounter.

Can I rotate just one page?

A capable editor can rotate the selected page only. Verify the selected page range.

Why isn’t a viewing rotation saved?

A view-rotation command may be temporary. Use a page-editing rotation operation and save the document.

Can I select odd and even pages separately?

Some editors filter odd or even pages within a range. Check the thumbnails before applying rotation.

Does rotation rewrite the page’s text?

Rotation changes orientation, not scanned-text recognition or text content. Use a separate tool for text work.

Does rotation make different page sizes uniform?

No. Rotating pages is different from resizing them to uniform dimensions.

Can I complete the operation and download a file on this page?

This version supports file selection and checks of file type, size, and count. Processing is not connected, so it does not convert, edit, or generate downloads. The guide describes a workflow in an application that supports the operation.

Which file types and sizes can I select?

This tool accepts PDF file extensions. You can select up to 20 files, with a 25 MB per-file limit and 100 MB total. Checking an extension does not verify that the file contents are valid or undamaged.

Are my selected files sent to a server?

In this version, file contents are not read or uploaded. Selections stay in the tab’s memory and are cleared on refresh. File names, extensions, and sizes are used only to display and check your selection.
